Bodrum Virtual New Year Market

A holiday market you walk in your browser

A 3D New Year market set on the marina in Bodrum, on Turkey's Aegean coast. There is nothing to install: open it on a phone or a computer and start walking.

Whitewashed stalls line the waterfront, gulets sit at anchor and the castle watches from across the bay. In the late afternoon there is a concert on the beach.

New Year without the snow

Bodrum in December is around 20°C, and the market is built for it: sunshine instead of snow, wooden gulets instead of sleighs, a coffee by the water instead of mulled wine.

Pick noon, golden hour or evening and watch the light change across the stalls.

Stalls and makers

The stalls are for makers and small businesses. Click one to see who is behind it and, where they have a website, go straight to it.

Businesses that want a stall can reach us through the sponsor link on any empty stall.

How to get around

On a computer, walk with WASD or the arrow keys, drag to look around and click the ground to walk there. On a phone, use the joystick in the bottom-left corner and swipe to look.

Switch to the drone view to see the whole market from above, or use photo mode to take a picture and save it.
